As School Principal, I believe that a school is more than
a place where learning takes place—it is a community where
dreams are nurtured, character is formed, talents are
discovered, and futures are shaped. My vision for
Mamplasan National High School is to build a learning
community where every learner is valued, every teacher is
empowered, every stakeholder has a voice, and every
achievement contributes to the greater good.
Anchored on the DepEd Vision and Mission, we aspire to
develop learners who possess not only knowledge and
competencies but also the values, character, resilience,
and sense of responsibility necessary to contribute
meaningfully to nation-building. We seek to provide a
safe, inclusive, child-friendly, motivating, and enabling
environment where learners can learn with confidence,
teachers can teach with purpose, and stakeholders can
actively share responsibility for lifelong learning.
Our aspirations are likewise aligned with the Sustainable
Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education,
while recognizing that education is deeply connected with
good health and well-being, gender equality, reduced
inequalities, sustainable communities, responsible
citizenship, and strong partnerships. For MNHS,
sustainable development begins with empowering young
people today to become responsible, capable, compassionate,
and productive citizens tomorrow.
Our Direction
We are also guided by the Quality Basic Education
Development Plan (QBEDP) 2025–2035, whose five reform
outcomes provide a compelling direction for our school:
